Connecting to computer w/ phone

I've got this P.O.S. SKY Elite(LOL LOL)P55Max that's got a number of issues. First, cannot connect to computer/computer doesn't recognize phone. Cannot find the USB connections to switch to MTP or MIDI. Second: Phone has FM but it doesn't operate. Plug in earphones and it(app) just stays blank. I'm not expecting much from this phone, but it was just sent to me and I'd like to get it working......if possible. BTW...is there a better operating system I could be using other than Android 11 GO edition? Anyone helping me with this will be greatly appreciated!!!
