Samsung SGH T429: Help with Backing Up Photos From SGH-T429

Hello, I have an old SGH-T429 cell phone that still works, but hasn't had service since 2011 when I switched out of T-Mobile. Unfortunately, I realized that I didn't back up all of the photos that I took with the phone previously (I was texting them to my e-mail address), and I'd really like to preserve the memories. Some of those pictured are no longer alive, so the least I could do is remember them in better times.

I've tried a number of things:

1. Bluetooth functionality works, but it has a very poor ability to find devices and sending media can only be done through text messaging, which would require an active service (a T-Mobile representative told me that the IMEI on my device would be incompatible with any of their plans). I've been able to pair it with a slightly newer flip phone (ZTE Z222) that does send media via Bluetooth (worked when receiving from a smartphone, but not when receiving from the SGH-T429), but I'm not sure how to make the SGH-T429 send that information over to the receiving phone. When checking the Bluetooth "features", all I see are those for headsets and handsfree. When checking the services for the Z222 (through the SGH-T429), I see file transfer (used to provide Internet access for Bluetooth devices via the phone's modem) and object push (used to connect to other Bluetooth devices via a virtual serial port). On the Z222, I can get information about its device address, H/W version, S/W version, and services (OPP, FTP, HSP, HFP, A2DP, AVRCP, and PBAP). I can also try to "browse" the SGH-T429, but it always says it fails to connect (it also says the same about some other devices that I've paired it with).

2. I lost my OEM USB charger a long time ago, so I bought a replacement one for the SGH-T429 and connected it to my computer. Tested on Windows XP/7 and Linux, but nothing got picked up. All it does it recharge. I was told about Samsung PC Studio 3.0, which I installed, but it still failed to pick anything up via USB. The SGH-T429 doesn't have a way to select USB settings at all, so nothing about modem or mass storage applies.

3. As mentioned on the first point, I would always e-mail the photos to myself when I had service. Since T-Mobile doesn't support this model anymore and 2G is on its last legs, I'm not sure if there's another carrier that could still provide me that window of opportunity so that I can at least get my data back. It's been very distressing, even after calling both T-Mobile and Samsung support lines and trying different methods. For now, I've been (very carefully) taking pictures of the phone screen while scrolling through photos. The quality will be inferior, but this is the only way that I can still look at them without turning to the SGH-T429.

So, with those three points outlined, I'm pretty much at a dead end here. Is there any other way to get my data back? I'd happily pay a professional service to retrieve my photos for me. The last thing I'd want is for this phone to no longer turn on as time marches forward. I have too many precious memories that I'd still like to preserve. Any help would be appreciated.
